I am holding an art contest! All submissions must be in by the time it becomes June in the magical land known as Arizona, USA. <3
I do apologize for not updating recently, though. I shall try to answer some things this week.

Don’t want to participate? Why not reblog just in case one of your followers might want to? ;)
Hello, darlings. I was thinking, there’s simply not enough beautiful art of my beautiful self! So I am holding a contest for you dears. Your job is simple: create a piece of visual art—a digital drawing, a traditional painting, a sculpture, whatever—of me! (Ivy, darling, if you’re not paying attention. The G2 pony? Yes.) So here’s the specs.
RULES
Your art will be judged based on creativity, style, and appeal. So if you “don’t draw very good”, don’t count yourself out! Minor anatomical flaws will not affect your score. As long as we can tell what’s going on and what’s a pony and not, everything is peachy!
PRIZES
Certainly I wouldn’t ask for free art of myself without rewarding it! First and foremost, every qualifying submission will be featured on my blog, with a link to the artist’s blog, so even if you don’t win, you get a bit of free publicity! And then…
Prize A:

A long-haired Ivy from the Pretty Parlor Playset! Fine condition with no marks, both original eye gems (right one was re-glued on, see 3rd picture for the weird white ring the glue caused), hair uncut though a tiny bit friztastic at the ends.
Prize B:

A Magic Motion “kicking” Ivy! ((The very toy that I had as a child that made me love Ivy! Well, mine was sold long ago, but it’s the same version)) No marks again. No hair frizz at all, very nice actually. However, her leg-kicking mechanism is broken, when you twist her head she will occasionally kick but usually not. Also, she is missing both eye gems. This one comes with the added bonus, therefore, of:

Getting to pick any color of real swarovski crystal (no cheap plastic “gems”, these are legit rock, baby) seen here to be carefully glued into her eyes before shipment. I don’t have a really similar color to that which comes in Ivy normally, unfortunately. These gems are the exact fit for the eye sockets so it won’t look too out of place.
First prize winner gets to pick which Ivy they would like to get. Second place gets whichever is left. Have ask boxes open so I can contact you if you win! Shipping will be paid for by me, so this will cost you nothing! You have nothing to lose, darlings. ((I realize these prizes aren’t fantastic! I don’t really have much to give! I just really wanna see some pretty Ivy arts, what can I say.))
DEADLINE
Reblog this post and submit your art to ask-g2-ivy.tumblr.com in some way before May 31, 2012. No submissions will be taken once it’s June ((in Arizona))!
More than anything, have fun! It’s not about getting prizes. It’s about loving ponies—especially exquisite green stylist ponies! Good luck, dears!
I found this today in my cellar… Nearly forgot it…
I always thought this is a fake of the MLP figures and just kept it ‘cause I thought it’s pretty, today a colleague told me this is supposed to be Princess Silver Swirl, a G2 Pony.
Does anyone has some infos for me? Like if this figurine is a original or a fake? (it has a little rainbow under one of it’s hooves. )
I know it’s not the official figurine of her, but maybe it’s a a surprise from a fastfood restaurant.. Dunno.
((Reblogging ‘cause too many ppl lately telling me how unoriginal my ‘Rarity recolor OC’ is.
This is my Silver Swirl figurine on which this blog is based (I am still not sure if this is a fake or not, I think it’s from Mc Donalds since it doesn’t looks like the original Silver Swirl doll. )
Her mane is in a bad shape on this pic but usually it would have the same shape like Rarity in FiM and you can clearly see she has a curly tail too. Rarity in her design with her name cam AFTER Silver Swirl, until G4 she was named Sparkler and looked differently.
Do some research before you tell me how unoriginal I am =/ ))
((It’s a UK McDonald’s Silver Swirl. She’s legit. :3))
Of course we have movies, silly. In fact, I have tickets to see the Pontanic in 3D. I get to see hundreds of ponies drown, in 3D!
When I wake up, I compliment myself in the mirror for at least 10 minutes. That way when someone says, “Wow, Ivy; you’re gorgeous!” I have already heard it from myself, and can simply say, “Why yes, I am, aren’t I?”
But Fern just told me that particular method may be a difficult thing for somepony like you to do (I can’t imagine what she means), so if you ever need a makeover or anything to perhaps boost that self-confidence of yours, you’re always free to visit my salon, dear.
